We truly understand the fact that behind an artwork hanging in the walls of many places, there is always a long road that goes from the moment the artist creates to the day we select it for an exhibition and show it to the public.
Therefore we sincerely hope that when you go to our gallery and stand in front of an artwork, you can see whatever you see and feel whatever you feel. We don’t want to be the one who tell you what you should be seeing or thinking, because that is clearly not our job nor anyone’s.
However, our missions are:

By showcasing amusing creations, we hope to raise the consciousness of art within society.
To promote the emerging talent
Fresh artists can exhibit their work for feedback and revitalize their adroitness.

Several years of working and learning together, each and every individual in AKSEN team perennially share the same spirit: to utilize our passion for art as a medium to appreciate nature.
By holding solo or group exhibitions periodically, we hope that we can collaborate with other artists who share the similar vision as ours to translate our notions into the projects that we dreamed of creating, rather than presenting exhibitions in conventional ways.
As a space to show the work of young and emerging Indonesian artists, we accept all forms of artwork, from painting, sculpture, photograph, to the large-scale installation.
